Barley End

Barley End is one of seventeen holiday cottages at Town Farm, on the edge of the Chilterns. We are a working arable farm, with some sheep over the surrounding hills, we are lucky to have views over to Ivinghoe Beacon on one side, and Aylesbury Vale on the other. All the cottages each have their own unique charm, and we also run a campsite during the summer months. 

Barley End is a homely, self-catering property with spacious open plan living space and a paved courtyard to the rear. The property is all ground floor, with ramp to front door, and wet room.

The open plan living area has a modern, fully equipped kitchen area with cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washer dryer and large dining counter. The lounge which comfortably seats four has a large sofa, motorized recliner chair and a flat screen TV with DVD player.

The property has two bedrooms, one with a queen size bed, and one with a single bed. The wet room has a large shower and a heated towel rail and tilt-able mirror.

The patio area at the rear of the property is private and is accessible by a permanent ramp.

This property benefits from heating by electric radiators. Please note that rental includes GBP20 per week towards electricity. Any extra is charged as used on a non-profit basis. This allows us to remain as environmentally green as possible.

Parking for two cars is available at the front of the property. Up to two pets are welcome in the property, please let us know on booking. Wi-fi is included in the rental.

 

The property has access to a tennis court to hire, games room and a children`s play area on the farm.

We request a refundable GBP100 damage deposit for stays of up to 27 days, and one week`s rental for stays of over 28 days. Please see our terms and conditions for further details.
